A concept dedicated to souvenirs

DISCOVER is the international format by Lagardère Travel Retail dedicated to authentic souvenirs, designed to highlight local culture in every store. It is a unique concept that combines experience, sense of place, and product quality, offering travelers an immersive environment rich in identity.

With a multi‑regional presence and dozens of boutiques in airports and railway stations, DISCOVER is now one of the most recognizable concepts in the high‑quality souvenir retail landscape.

The DISCOVER assortment includes typical souvenirs, fashion and accessories, toys, local food & wine, and curated gift items, with a constant focus on origin, quality, and authenticity. Each store adapts its offer to local consumer habits and the cultural characteristics of its country: every location tells a unique story.

In Italy, the Discover philosophy is expressed through two distinctive formats, designed to showcase two iconic territories through specific products, materials, and atmospheres: Discover Sicily (Palermo) and Campo Marco Polo (Venice). Both maintain the global identity of the brand while reinterpreting it with strong cultural roots.

At Palermo Falcone–Borsellino Airport, travelers will find Discover Sicily, a format entirely dedicated to the island’s typical products: cannoli, cassate, almond biscuits, traditional pasta and sauces, as well as precious Caltagirone ceramics, hand‑woven coffe bags, artisanal jewelry, and Etna lava stone creations. A concept that brings together culture, craftsmanship, and authentic flavors, showcasing the richness of Sicilian identity within the airport.

At Venice Marco Polo Airport, the local expression of the format is the Campo Marco Polo store. Its name evokes one of the city’s most iconic squares, while the store offers an assortment designed to convey to travelers the elegance and history of the Serenissima through carefully selected products: souvenirs, clothing, and objects inspired by Venice’s artisan tradition. The space welcomes travelers in an atmosphere inspired by the lagoon city, enhancing its material culture and the distinctive aesthetics of the Serenissima.
