Lagardère Travel Retail Italy provides a varied assortment of products, operates and guarantees the development of three business lines: Duty Free & Luxury, Dining and Travel Essentials.
- Duty Free & Luxury: Lagardère Travel Retail is the leader in Italy in the Duty Free sector with its Aelia Duty Free stores, where travelers can find the most prestigious and on-trend brands of perfumes, cosmetics, spirits, and fine food. The group is also present in airports with the “Bottega dei Sapori” concept, dedicated to the excellence of Italian gastronomy, as well as with Fashion boutiques, including both mono-brand stores in partnership with iconic brands and multi-brand stores under the ThePlace# banner.
- Dining: Lagardère Travel Retail’s food & beverage offering combines tradition and innovation, with formats that showcase local excellence and Made in Italy, while maintaining an international outlook designed to guarantee quality and uniqueness. We offer concepts developed in-house—such as Beercode, deCanto, Rustichelli & Mangione, and Natoo—alongside points of sale created in partnership with leading brands in the sector, enriching the offering and meeting the diverse needs of travelers.
- Travel Essentials: Lagardère Travel Retail’s News & Convenience heritage is reflected in a unique portfolio of brands designed to enhance the traveler experience with products such as gifts, souvenirs, and electronics. Among these is the historic Relay brand, present in airports and stations around the world—a reference point for those seeking newspapers, magazines, books, snacks, drinks, and essential travel items. Relay’s strength lies in its ability to meet travelers’ immediate needs, offering a curated assortment and quick services, all in a welcoming and easily accessible environment.
