Lagardère Travel Retail Italia Opens Goppion Café at Treviso Airport
Lagardère Travel Retail Italia announces the opening of the new Goppion Caffè at Treviso Antonio Canova Airport, bringing the excellence of Italian coffee to travelers in a dedicated space.
The new café, located on the ground floor in the arrivals area, joins six other points of sale where Goppion products are already available across Veneto airports – four in Venice, one in Treviso, and one in Verona – all managed by Lagardère Travel Retail, one of the two main divisions of the Lagardère Group and a global leader in travel retail. This new coffee corner offers passengers and visitors an authentic experience, with coffee roasted and prepared to perfection thanks to staff training certified by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
“Treviso has always meant home for us; it’s where our entrepreneurial journey began more than 75 years ago,” says Paola Goppion, who leads the historic roastery together with her family. “Being present inside the city airport with a branded café means giving travelers the chance to enjoy an Italian coffee prepared to the highest standards. We thank Lagardère Travel Retail Italia for the strong and fruitful partnership that recognizes our commitment to quality in both product and service.”
Alberto Niero, CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail Italia, adds: “We are proud to open this new outlet at Treviso Airport. Bringing Goppion’s excellence into a dedicated space is our way of celebrating the passion for coffee and Italian hospitality. After the success of Goppion blends in our Veneto airport stores, we wanted to create a place that offers travelers an authentic and special experience. For us, every journey deserves a unique moment, and this opening is our way of providing it.”
In addition to coffee, the Goppion café will offer snacks, light meals, and a selection of products from the roastery for travelers who wish to take home the taste of Italian excellence.
2025 has been an extraordinary year for Goppion, which, in addition to opening at Canova Airport, became the official coffee of the Vienna State Opera – a historic achievement that highlights the brand’s role in spreading coffee culture across Europe and the world.
